Madrid, 17th June 2022. X-ELIO, a world leading company specialized in the development, construction, financing and operation of renewable and sustainable energy projects, is offering complete courses and certificates in risk prevention on site and installation of photovoltaic panels to the neighbors around its photovoltaic plant ‘CSF Tabernas’, as part of its Community Plan in the region.
All residents of the municipalities of Lucainena de las Torres, Sorbas, Tabernas and Nijar will be able to participate in the program. Each course will have 25 students and both will take place during the month of July. Both courses will consist of 20 classroom hours and, in particular, the course of risks and preventive measures in construction sites will also include 40 hours online. Both courses are certified by the Metal Foundation for Training, Qualification and Employment.
The registration period starts today, until June 27th. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until full. Those interested should consult the requirements of the call and send an email, including their CV and the course in which they are interested in participating to: community.plan@x-elio.com. Also, anyone interested or with questions about the program is welcome to send them to the same email account.
This agreement is part of X-ELIO’s Community Plan, which includes regional and local actions aimed at promoting the pillars of the Program: environment, education, communities and health. These actions are an essential component in all of the company’s projects and are tailored to the needs of each area or region. Through this particular collaboration, X-ELIO aims to contribute to the community and train its people so that they can be part of its project in the region, thus supporting local employment and training.
This action goes alongside X-ELIO’s ‘CSF Tabernas’ project, a 50 MW PV plant located in Almería which will produce 104 GWh of 100% clean and sustainable energy. This plant will supply the equivalent consumption of 10,000 homes/year and will prevent the emission of more than 20,000 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.
