- The renewable energy company is participating again in the festivities of Zarcilla de Ramos and La Paca, sponsoring various recreational and gastronomic activities such as the installation of inflatable children’s play areas and the outdoor community paella.
5 September 2024 – X-ELIO, a global leader in renewable energy development, is once again taking part in the festivities of Zarcilla de Ramos and La Paca. As in 2023, the company is supporting a variety of recreational events, including the setup of inflatable playgrounds for children and the preparation of a giant paella, which has become a deeply rooted tradition in Lorca’s Pedanías Altas.
From September 5 to 8, these Lorca districts will host a vibrant schedule of activities, where over 700 people will come together to celebrate a unique blend of tradition, entertainment, music, and sports.
Through this involvement, X-ELIO reaffirms its commitment to the local community, having previously launched various initiatives to enhance socio-economic well-being. For several seasons, the company has sponsored multiple categories of the Pedanías Altas de Lorca Football School. Recently, X-ELIO donated 50 computers and audiovisual equipment to foster connectivity among schools in these districts. Furthermore, it supports projects that promote emotional education, inclusion, and mutual understanding among students, such as the “Emotional Backpacks” program and diversity-oriented toys.
Additionally, X-ELIO has successfully conducted three editions of certified professional training courses on photovoltaic and wind installations, accredited by the Metal Foundation for Training, Qualification, and Employment. These efforts, among many others supported in the Pedanías Altas, are integral to the company’s Sustainable Communities Program. This initiative aims to advance the core pillars of education, community, health, and environmental sustainability in the regions where X-ELIO operates.
