- After three years, the Fuente Álamo Triathlon has been held again, under the sponsorship of X-ELIO, which raffled an electric scooter among the 300 volunteers and participants of the event.

X-ELIO, a world leading company specialising in the development, construction, financing and operation of renewable and sustainable energy projects, has supported the municipality of Fuente Álamo and contributed, through sponsorship, to the 31st edition of its International Triathlon, which took place on Saturday 13th of May.
After three years, the emblematic Fuente Álamo Triathlon was back with more than 900 participants. 300 volunteers collaborated in the event, in which X-ELIO raffled an electric scooter.
The renewable and sustainable energy company was also the official sponsor of the drawing contest “Triathlon under the sun” in which fifty children from the schools of the Fuente Álamo City Council were awarded. The awards ceremony took place after the race, near the finish line.
X-ELIO would also like to congratulate the winners of the triathlon event and the drawing competition, as well as the organisers and all the residents of Fuente Álamo for their involvement in the celebration of this emblematic sporting event.
X-ELIO’s Community Plan
This sponsorship is part of the photovoltaic company’s Community Plan, focused on the development of actions that promote the environment, education, communities and health. Through this participation, the company aims to contribute to the sport and wellbeing of the residents of the municipality of Fuente Álamo.
This action is part of the X-ELIO project for the Fuente Álamo V and VI solar power plant, a facility in which 10 million euros have been invested. The PV Plant will produce 17.4 MW of 100% clean and sustainable energy for the Region of Murcia.
