The global leader in renewable energy has been awarded a 37-MW contract in an energy auction organised by the Japanese Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry.
X-ELIO was the only Spanish awardee in the auction
Madrid. 24 November 2017. X-ELIO, the global leader in photovoltaic solar energy, has been awarded a contract for 37 MW in an energy auction organised by the Greenhouse Gas Inventory Office of Japan (GIO), a body of the Japanese Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry.
X-ELIO was the only Spanish company awarded in the auction and it obtained 25% of the capacity on offer in the process, amounting to 141 MW.
Since 2012, X-ELIO has produced 450-MW with a tariff in Japan, where it has a team of 30 people. It currently has 76 MW in operation and 115 MW under construction.
