X-ELIO, the largest PV energy awardee in the Spanish renewable energy auction with 315 MW

The company leads the auction in PV energy, as it was awarded 315 MW, 10% of the total energy auctioned in the process.

Madrid, January 27th, 2021. X-ELIO, one of the world’s leading renewable energy developers, has participated in the renewable energy auction held by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge on January 26. The company was awarded a total of 315 MW, which represents 10% of the total energy auctioned in this process. After obtaining this result, X-ELIO thus becomes the largest awardee of the process in PV energy.

The future projects resulting from the awarding of these 315 MW obtained in the auction will have a dynamizing effect on employment and the economy in the areas where these projects will be developed, as well as having significant benefits on the environment.
