3rd October 2024 – X-ELIO, a leading company in renewable energy development, strengt3rhens its commitment to the community of Mula through the signing of several collaboration agreements with sociocultural and sports entities in the municipality. These alliances aim to promote cultural, educational, and sports development in the region, as well as preserve its traditions.
In the cultural sphere, X-ELIO has launched the “I Biennial of Bands of the Río Mula Region” together with the Agrupación Musical Muleña, in support of local musical talent. Additionally, it has joined forces with the Peña de Folclore Alegría Muleña to celebrate the association’s 40th anniversary through the exhibition “1984/2024 Alegría Muleña: 40 years of folklore in Mula,” and it has funded the recording of an album compiling the region’s traditional repertoire with the Peña Huertana “Los Muleñicos.”
In sports, X-ELIO actively supports the female team Muleño Football Club, which competes in the regional preferred league, as well as the El Niño de Mula Football Club, managed by the community’s mothers. It also collaborates with the Puntarrón Futsal Club and has been one of the sponsors of the Cycling Tour of the Region of Murcia.
Additionally, X-ELIO has backed the emblematic Mulaflor 2024 Almond Blossom Agricultural Fair, one of the region’s most important events, which celebrates the connection between agricultural traditions and the environment.
These initiatives are part of X-ELIO’s Sustainable Communities Program, which aims to create a positive and lasting impact in the areas where the company operates, promoting values such as health, sports, sustainability, and respect for local traditions.
