The company is committed to making a decisive contribution to the environmental transition, using different tools and methodologies to detect areas for improvement.

Plan

As a global leading sustainable company, we have to be a community builder; we have to take into account the importance of social investment. When we develop a project in a certain region we become part of the community, understanding and fulfilling their needs is the way to do business.

Our Community Plan is the reflection of our commitment to the environment and the communities we feel, we become a part of; based on X-ELIO's pillars of Environment, Education, Health and Communities.

Sustainable
Mobility

In our continuous search for actions that help progress towards sustainability, the company supports with the transition to a more sustainable and responsible way of mobility.

1. X-ELIO’s Sustainable Mobility Program provides financial support to those employees who wish to purchase an electric or hybrid transport mean such as plug-in cars, electric bicycles or scooters.

2. X-ELIO’s travel policy prioritizes the most responsible and sustainable way of travelling and ensures that all trips made by X-ELIO staff reduce our carbon footprint.

Sustainable
Office

X-ELIO is strongly committed to the environment, which is why our offices are built to minimise X-ELIO’s carbon footprint as much as possible. They are designed to enhance the wellbeing of our employees, with bright and open collaborative spaces.

The company is constantly working on the choice of recycled and sustainable materials, which is why we have eliminated from our offices the use of plastic bottles and cups, as well as the use of paper. In addition, an LED lighting system was implemented to reduce electricity consumption.

This is evidenced by our adherence to the United Nations Global Compact, as well as its SDG Ambition initiative.

The Global Compact calls on companies and organisations to align their strategies and operations with the Ten Universal Principles on human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption. X-ELIO remains strongly committed to the values set out in the UN Global Compact framework and its mission to continue to seek ways to improve its blueprint.
